#TeamFRS
Our community is at the heart of everything we do. From hosting to Haftarah, from programming to proofreading, there are so many different ways to get involved. Have a browse through some of the possibilities below.
We are all #TeamFRS. What will your role be?
Security and Kiddush Rotas on Rota Central
We are excited to invite our members who are able to support us by joining our Saturday moring security and kiddush (food served after Shabbat morning services) rotas. You will be playing a vital role in supportings FRS in these key community functions.
- Security: All adult members have been invited to be part of this rota. You will be asked to arrive at FRS for a slot from 9.15am-10.45am or 10.45am-12.30pm and will work with a Security Team Leader and one of our professional security guards. You will be allocated to 2 shifts a year (not including the High Holy Days which will be allocated seperately)
- Kiddush: All families in the Bnei Mitzvah programme and recently joined new members have been invited to join this rota. You should arrive at 9.30am to help set up the Kiddush and clear up at the end until approximately 1pm and will work with a Kiddush Team Leader. You will be allocated to one shift a year.
More information will be provided when you are arrive for your shift. The most important element of both of these roles is to be the warm, welcoming face of FRS.
In order to organise these rotas, we will be using software called RotaCentral which you may remember from pre pandemic days. Please see below for further information and be sure to look out for emails from RotaCentral.
How Rota Central works
You will receive automated emails directly from RotaCentral when you are allocated a new shift.
In every email that you receive there will be an orange "click here to respond" button
The button will take you to your own page where you can accept the shift or choose an alternative. You'll also be able to see other shifts you've committed to.
We would be really grateful if you could reply promptly when you receive these emails, so that we can keep everything running smoothly.
Thank you in advance for helping our community in such an important way. If you have any questions, please contact Steph Cramer.
