I joined FRS back in 2001. One day in the summer of 2006 I popped into the office to ask a question of our harassed Synagogue Administrator who was struggling with a document on the computer. I offered to help and I haven't been allowed to leave since! I've worked in various positions over the years, serving the community as a whole as well as the younger generation.
As Youth & Education Manager, I am the first point of contact for families, particularly those with children involved in Kochavim, Massu'ot and Friday Group. I particularly enjoy supporting families on their journey towards Bnei Mitzvah.
My favourite roles at FRS, however, are voluntary – singing in the Rhythm ‘n’ Jews Band at the monthly family Shabbat services and writing and performing in the annual FRS Purim Spiel!
