Simchat Torah
Simchat Torah celebrations conclude our High Holy Day period with the joy of our new FRS building filled with community and the chance to celebrate our chatanim and kallot (honourees from among the community). We'll unroll the scroll around the shul and dance our way into a new cycle of Torah reading, accompanied by our own FRS musicians and the brilliance of Shir!.
This year Simchat Torah falls on Shabbat. Therefore, everyone will need to pre-order their food and drinks from our food trucks to ensure we can maintain a Shabbat-friendly atmosphere while still enjoying the fun and carnival atmosphere that characterises Simchat Torah at FRS. We'll share information about how to book in and order your food in mid-August.
Erev Simchat Torah will be on Friday 6th October 2023 5.00pm-10.00pm
Simchat Torah on Shabbat 7th October 2023 10.30am-12.30pm
