Our family joined FRS in early 2020, after attending a Shabbat service in the old building, looking to find a community we could call home. We were immediately welcomed with open arms. Despite having to resort to virtual services and Kochavim activities for the months that followed, our family benefited hugely from the connection and warmth of FRS. Our two children love coming to shul for the holidays, and expressing their Jewish identity in the wonderful ways that the shul offers.
My background is in HR, working for global retail and hospitality brands, which will stand me in good stead to help Council make balanced and compassionate decisions for the shul’s future. I am confident the shul will go from strength to strength during this transitional period for the community.
