I didn't grow up at FRS, but finding this community felt like coming home. I read Medicine at UCL, and it was during my studies that I first found myself at FRS running the Shabbat Programme from 2010-2015. I've worked in a number of different roles within the synagogue and joined the clergy team full time in 2020 in the early months of the pandemic.

I care deeply about enabling people to build a personal relationship with Judaism, and bringing the richness and diversity of Jewish wisdom into dialogue with modern life.

This has led me to work and teach in Reform communities around the world, I have served as a member of the World Union for Progressive Judaism’s Executive Board and in several other roles within the international Reform movement, as well as programming chair for Limmud. I have MAs in Education and Technology and in Applied Rabbinic Theology, and write regularly on issues of Jewish interest. My husband is also a rabbi and we live in Finchley with our young son.

I don't come from a religious background, but the path I've taken into synagogue life has shown me that Judaism can be transformative – for its members, and for the wider community.
