Bob Humphreys
I have just completed two years as your Chair, and three years as head of the building project, and it has genuinely been an honour and a privilege. I’ve had sleepless nights, yes, especially over the building contract – but they pale into insignificance compared with the pleasure of working with such an amazing clergy team, a wonderful professional team, and a dedicated and skilled group of lay leaders and volunteers.
I have shared many lovely moments with members, in person and on Zoom, during my tenure, and look forward to the resumption of in-person activities as and when it is safe to do so. I also hope that the building will be completed on schedule, so that we can move in by Pesach 2022 to what will be FRS’s new home for the next 50, or 150 years!
