Andrew Fetterman
I have been a part of the FRS community for as long as I can remember, and I would love to have this opportunity to give something back to FRS after so many years of the community supporting myself and my family.
My wife, Rebecca, and I spent a few years living outside London, but specifically moved back to Finchley so that we could live near our family, friends and FRS – though in the middle we did get married at FRS back in 2004. We have 2 children, Noa and Talya, who both went to FRS Kindergarten and both keep us on our toes! Noa had her B-Mtzvah in 2022 and Talya is due to have her Bat Mitzvah later this year. Both of our families are very involved within the community, and my earliest memory of FRS was at my mother and step-father’s wedding when I was 5 years old.
Along with my brother and sister, RSY-Netzer and Esher Rugby Club were a big part of my childhood where I also learnt the importance of community and a true sense of behaving ethically. Most of my best friends I grew up with were from RSY when we spent our gap year in Israel together, and I feel truly blessed to have them in my life. I particularly like working and interacting with people, and if it’s centred around a complex Excel spreadsheet then all the better!
