Abigail Jacobi
I joined FRS with my partner Bruce in 2019, ahead of our wedding which was due to take place in April 2020… two years later, we eventually had our chuppah in May 2022! The pandemic delay gave us more of a chance to get to know the FRS community and I feel really privileged to be joining council now, especially having benefited from the creativity and versatility of the shul during the pandemic.
Outside of the Jewish community, I am a local authority Social Worker, practising in a children with disabilities service in North London. I have am also a (nearly) life-long Limmudnik and have been heavily involved as a volunteer for the last decade, most recently as co-chair of the Limmud UK Executive. We are expecting our first child in July 2023, so I’m looking forward to many future cuddle up Shabbats!
