Joining FRS five years ago has been the best decision for our family. We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we walked in the door, and were encouraged to get involved right from the off, which was amazing!
Since joining, I've organised fundraising for the shul's outstanding Kindergarten, become a Connector, (helping to forge relationships between members) and I've joined the Youth and Education Committee, which I now co-chair and represent on Council.
I care passionately about bringing people together, helping people to forge meaningful relationships. My many years spent working in business development in the City was centred on this. After having children I decided to retrain, and now teach English as a Foreign Language to adults from overseas.
Through my involvement at FRS, I'm able to help shape my children's journey at shul and play my part in helping others to feel every bit as welcome and appreciated as we've been made to feel since we first joined!
